Remove decay and rebuild the affected area with a tooth-colored composite filling. Most straightforward fillings are completed during one appointment at our Leesburg Village office.

A filling repairs the space left after decayed or weakened tooth structure is removed. Sealing that area restores contour and contact while helping prevent bacteria and food from collecting in the defect.
At Advanced Dental Care in Leesburg Village, we use tooth-colored composite resin for direct fillings. The material bonds to prepared enamel and dentin and is selected to blend with the surrounding tooth.
Not every dark area or older metal filling needs replacement. We evaluate its margins, symptoms, X-rays, and remaining tooth structure before recommending monitoring, repair, a new filling, or a stronger restoration.
You may benefit from a dental filling if you:

The area is thoroughly numbed with local anesthesia. Most patients feel nothing at all. Nitrous oxide is available for anxious patients.
Decayed tooth structure is carefully removed, leaving only healthy enamel and dentin. Minimal-prep techniques preserve as much natural tooth as possible.
Composite resin is placed in layers, each hardened with a curing light. The filling is shaped and polished to match your natural bite and appearance.
We verify your bite feels comfortable and natural. Minor adjustments are made chairside. You leave with a fully restored, functional tooth.
We use only composite resin and porcelain, no amalgam, no mercury. Safe for patients of all health backgrounds.
Tooth-colored fillings blend invisibly with your smile. No dark metal showing when you laugh or speak.
Composite resin bonds directly to tooth structure, so we remove less healthy tooth compared to metal fillings.
Most fillings are completed in a single visit at our Leesburg office. Walk in with a cavity, walk out restored.
Composite resin bonds create a seal that reinforces the remaining tooth structure and reduces sensitivity.
Modern composite fillings last 7–15 years with proper care, comparable to amalgam without the aesthetic or health concerns.

Today, I had filling done by Dr. Kaur and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment I walked into the clinic, I felt at ease. The entire team was professional, friendly, and attentive. Dr. Kaur took the time to thoroughly explain the procedures, answer all my questions, and ensure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The filling was quick, painless, and done with great precision. Dr. Kaur was gentle, and the local anesthesia was administered so smoothly that I barely felt a thing. The tooth looks and feels completely natural, I honestly can't even tell which one was treated.
great doctor! I experienced my first cavity and was anxious about the filling but it was absolutely pain free. she did a great job. the cleaning was also cool because they have this new like water pressure thing that they use to clean your teeth instead of the old fashioned metal things that hurt. i’ve had terrible experiences with dentists in the past but she was great, very kind as well!
Well today at 2 hours was much better than the 4 hours scheduled. I think it went well but after the anesthetic wore off I noticed a knot of the filling material stuck between my teeth. I have a small amount of similar from An earlier appointment. That small one is no issue. This one is somewhat annoying but I don’t want to drive all the way to Leesburg to have it ground off. 😉
Came in for some fillings. The numbing drugs don't usually work that well on me so they used their new laser drill. The laser doesn't make physical contact with the teeth which really helps with the sensitivity plus you don't get that grinding drilling feeling. It was a great experience. Highly recommend giving them a try. My whole family goes here now.
This office came highly recommend and I would highly recommend this office to anyone seeking dental care. I have a phobia about dentist. After having a dental implant, cavities filled and Invisalign done. I can honestly say I’m much calmer about my visits. The care I’ve received is excellent and the staff is amazing at Advance Dental care.
Advanced Dental Care does an amazing job at taking care of their patients. I’ve been a patient here for some time and the team is helpful, knowledgeable and highly skilled! I’ve always been anxious and when I needed fillings done, I didn’t feel a single thing. They treat everyone like family.
